Our Team
Blake Jones, Owner
Blake is a Clinton High School graduate. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Northwestern State University.
After college Blake played professional baseball with the Marlins organization from 2005 to 2009.
Before starting his insurance career, Blake was an animal pharmaceutical representative for Bayer Healthcare.
Blake decided to get into insurance because he wanted to be involved in the local community and be able to help his neighbors. He began his insurance career with Alfa Insurance in 2020 in Columbia, Mississippi.
Blake is a member of the Rotary Club of Marion County.
He is married to Kala Hudson Jones. They have two children: Britton and Breely. The Jones Family are members Midway First Baptist Church, where Blake serves as a member of the security team.
In his free time, Blake enjoys going to the beach with his family and he also loves to hunt and play golf.
Lindsey Oglesbee Powell, Agent/CSR
Lindsay graduated from Columbia Academy in Columbia, MS, and has worked in the insurance business as a CSR, and also as an agent, for the past 5 years.
Lindsey is married to Chaz Powell and has 3 children: Cooper, Chloe, and Collins.
She enjoys spending time with her family, anything outdoors, traveling, and watching her nephews play baseball.
The Powell’s are Members of Morgantown Church of God.
